Ceiling Elevator
We made a huge ceiling rack which is 900w x1800d(mm). It maximizes storage space in a limited room by using ceiling. Moreover, you can change the height of it by the handle. It is usually hang up near the ceiling and can be taken down if you need. It can be used as a temporary work bench when it is taken down around your waist.
1800×900mmの巨大な天井収納を制作した。天井を活用し、限られた空間の中で収納スペースを最大化する。また、レバーを操作することで高さを変えることが出来る。普段は天井付近に釣り上げておき必要なときに下ろす。腰辺りまで下ろせば臨時の作業台としても機能する。

First of all, we started from drilling holes to the ceiling. We drilled with a vibration drill and put plugs into the holes so that screws can be fixed to the ceiling.
まずは天井に固定用の穴を開けるところから。振動ドライバで穴あけし、ビス止め用のプラグを埋め込む。
Hanging the wire net by steel wire via pulleys.
滑車を介してワイヤーで金網を吊るす。
The wires are bundled and fixed to a squared lumber. It becomes the handle to move the rack.
ワイヤーは束ねて角材に固定。これが上げ下げする際のレバーとなる。
It is high capacity but doesn’t occupy the room. You can freely move It and see things on the rack from below. It became functional and very novel.
大容量でありながら空間の邪魔にならない。自由に上げ下げでき、下から見れば何があるかすぐに分かる。機能的かつ非常に新しい収納となった。
